What is a Virtual Assistant?
Virtual Assistants (VA) are office support personnel, which provide office and administrative services to small and large business owners, other independent contractors or freelance professionals, and executives. The VA works for you as an independent contractor and in their own office. VA’s are trained to work remotely.
What is the minimum/maximum number of hours I must sign up for?
Each client’s needs are different, so the amount of hours you require depend on you. We do not set minimums or maximums as far as hours. We do, however, offer project contracts as well, which offer a short term working relationship, which many use as a way to try out a VA’s services before committing long-term.
Do you work at our offices?
No, we work from our own offices and communicate with you via email, instant messaging, etc. Because of this, you are freed from the expenses of extra office space and equipment necessary for in-house employees, as well as the additional paperwork and associated expenses of an employee, such as workman’s compensation, taxes, vacation pay, downtime, etc.
How much does it cost to hire a VA?
There are a range of prices on the Internet for Virtual Assistance services. In all instances, retainer rates (longer term contracts) provide a significant savings to you over single project prices. Which services do you offer?
We offer a range of administrative and office support services. Our Virtual Services page details some of the services/tasks we can perform for you; however, if you do not see a service listed, just ask.
How did you get your training?
We achieved an A.A.S. degree in Office Systems Technology / Virtual Assistance Concentration in 2004 by graduating from one of the first fully accredited colleges in the country to offer the education in this field. Since obtaining our degree, we have continued to educate ourselves in the latest applications to stay abreast of cutting edge technology for the VA. Are you a temp agency?
No. Temp agencies offer temporary employees for in-house work. So, you still need your extra office space and equipment. Further, you may not get the same person every time, so transition into your business takes time with each temp. We provide services to you directly, so you get the same individual no matter how often you use our services. We are also more cost-effective than a temp agency, since we work remotely.
